Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned mathematics instruction
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
Integrate technology and real-world applications into lessons
Monitor and assess student progress, providing timely feedback
Collaborate with colleagues to support interdisciplinary learning and student success
Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment
Participate in school-wide initiatives and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field (Master’s preferred)
Valid Connecticut teaching 029 certification in Mathematics (Grades 7–12)
Experience teaching at the secondary level; early college or dual enrollment experience is a plus
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Commitment to equity, inclusion, and student-centered learning
