Become a part of a dynamic team of scientist-practitioners working with Connecticut public schools and EASTCONN specialized programs to implement evidence-based, prevention-oriented practices and systems through ongoing coaching and consultation. Our approach is data driven, context relevant, and grounded in behavioral consultation.

The qualified candidate will utilize the tenets of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support program development and implementation/progress monitoring of behavior support plans in public and private educational settings. The ideal candidate will have experience in data collection, organization and analysis for the purpose of future programming decisions, as well as knowledge and skills in conducting functional behavioral assessments (FBAs) and developing/implementing behavior intervention plans (BIPs). The individual in this position will engage in training of school-based personnel on implementation of strategies as delineated by the student’s educational program, as well as feedback and professional development for staff on best practices in supporting students with special needs. Skills and experience in report writing and development/implementation of behavioral strategies a must. Responsibilities also include attendance and participation in team meetings and PPTs for the purpose of supporting program development and implementation. Masters degree in applied behavior analysis, school psychology, education, or other related feed required.
