Early Intervention Associate (Developmental Therapy Associate for Birth To Three program)
Full Time - 40 hours/week
Northeast Region

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:  
-successful completion of the Connecticut Birth To Three System Initial Certificate
-provide home-based services to families with children ages birth to three years old with developmental delays
-provide special instruction using the coaching model of instruction as a guide
-ability to modify instruction and take direction from lead specialist including Developmental Therapist, Speech/Language Pathologist, Psychologist, Physical Therapist, and/or Occupational Therapist.
-organizational skills to collect data during home-visit sessions
-planning for home-visit sessions using the IFSP outcomes
-communicate effectively orally and through written session notes with colleagues, families and child care providers
-acting as a service coordinator after successful completion of the CT Birth To Three System service coordination training;
-visiting completed in natural setting - home, community, childcare, preschool (must have own car, current drivers license and proof of current auto insurance); and,
-other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in early childhood education/development, special education, human services or related fields.  Must have current automobile license through the Department of Motor Vehicles and maintain licensure as a condition of employment.

Preferred Criteria:
Fluent bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.

Working Conditions:
-Must be able to work independently, providing services in family/caregiver homes, centers and in the community as well as work in conjunction with other providers as part of a trans disciplinary team.
