Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Communicates e?ectively and builds rapport with families and caregivers
- Demonstrates strict adherence to the Code of Ethics as described by ASHA
- Maintains cultural sensitivity across diverse clientele
- Conducts standardized evaluations and assessments across developmental domains and for speech and language needs
- Participates in IFSP development, monitoring outcomes as a member of the team, and providing early intervention supports to families for the bene?t of the child
- Supervises Developmetal Therapy Associates as appropriate
- Provides special instruction
- Acts as a service coordinator after successful completion of the CT Birth to Three System service coordinator training
- Completes visits in natural setting - home, community, childcare, preschool (must have own car, current drivers license and proof of auto insurance
- Implements services as a primary service provider providing coaching to families in their natural environment.
Required for appointment: Masters Degree and Current CT Department of Health License
